Dr. Monique Frisby is a doctoral prepared and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Born and raised in sunny California where she continues to thrive with her husband, children, grandchildren, and family. She loves outdoor activities, traveling, cooking Southern cuisine, exploring innovative nursing opportunities, and passionate about helping others. She is a faculty member at California State University-San Bernadino for over 10 years as a BSN Clinical Instructor who specializes in Fundamentals of Nursing, Community Health, and Mental Health at facilities within the Inland Empire.
Dr. Frisby obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master’s in Health Service Administration at California State University San Bernadino. She is passionate about the care she provides to her students and patients using Innovative Strategies unique to their situations and goals. She has collaborated with individuals across the life span pursuing medical & psychiatric care for inpatient and outpatient services for over 30 years.

What to Expect on 1st Visit:
Ensure you have a private place to collaborate and share your life experiences. Then your provider will conduct a Psychiatric Evaluation which includes discussion of psychosocial history, diagnosis, past medical / surgical history, family history, education, treatment options, medication management, & psychotherapy.
